Build secure client and server Windows Sockets applications without learning the complexities of the Windows Sockets API. SocketWrench Secure Edition consists of a library and ActiveX control which uses the Windows Sockets API to provide basic TCP/IP networking functionality to your application. Standard and secure (SSL) client and server capability is provided through the component, as well as support for both TCP and UDP protocols. Three standard security protocols are supported: Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) versions 2.0 and 3.0, Private Communication Technology (PCT) version 1.0 and Transport Layer Security (TLS) version 1.0. The package also includes a Remote Access Services (RAS) component which can be used to easily create and manage dial-up networking (SLIP or PPP) connections.
