Easy to use Actions - Customizable actions enable SharePoint administrators to expose configurable rules for automating common file transfer and notification tasks including - SFTP, FTP, Email with Attachments, Instant Messaging, Alphanumeric Paging, etc.

For Example:

• FTP this item to this server using this user and password, placing the item in this directory. 
• Instant Message this text to this user by logging on to this server with this username and password.
• Send an email with this item as an attachment to this address.
