An easy to use ActiveX component to control TWAIN devices. GdTwain ActiveX is an easy to use ActiveX component to control TWAIN devices such as scanners, digital cameras and capture cards. With GdTwain ActiveX you can fully control the image acquisition process, scan images from an automatic document feeder, clean up images, enhance image applying filters like auto border removal, Despeckle, automatic deskew and more. GdTwain ActiveX can save images to disk or upload to FTP server. GdTwain ActiveX can be used in any environment of development that supports ActiveX/COM components including Visual Basic 6, VBA, Visual C++, Delphi, Visual FoxPro, PHP, ASP, Access, Windev, PowerBuilder, PowerBasic and many others.

GdTwain ActiveX is an ActiveX TWAIN control that allows developers to easily acquire images from devices such as scanners, cameras and capture cards. GdTwain ActiveX can be used within any 32-bit or 64-bit Windows development environment that supports ActiveX components, including Visual Basic, REALbasic, Visual C++, Delphi, Visual FoxPro, PHP, ASP, MS Word, MS Access, MS Excel, WinDev, PowerBuilder, .NET languages like C# and VB.NET, and many more. GdTwain ActiveX works with Microsoft Windows platforms: 98, NT4, ME, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista or Windows 7.

- Advanced image processing, including auto border removal and the ability to adjust brightness, contrast, saturation and gamma
- Acquire an image to a handle, file (including multipage Tiff), the clipboard, a byte array, HBitmap, and StdPicture
