Maxicode component for .NET. dBarcode.NET Maxicode is a fully-managed-code component for generating 2D barcode images in the .NET framework. Barcode images may be displayed on screen, printed on a printer, copied to the clipboard or saved as graphics file image. The component includes methods for saving graphic images as files or memory streams with a specified resolution in BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIF or WMF formats, and, for most barcode types, also generates pattern strings for developers who wish to draw their own bars. When creating bitmap images the component may be set to adjust the width of the bars to be an integer number of pixels, ensuring that the resultant barcode is of high quality. The component also contains its own dialog box which may be used by the developer to allow the end-user to select barcode properties. The dBarcode.NET Maxicode Component supports the Maxicode symbols for modes 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.

What's new in dBarcode.NET Maxicode V4.1?
What's new in dBarcode.NET Maxicode V4.0?
These new versions add the facility to generate vector Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) files and memory streams to the formats supported (Enhanced metafile and a variety of bitmap formats). This addition allows the creation of very high resolution images to be transferred to any PostScript supporting platform using plain text files.
What's new in dBarcode.NET Maxicode V3.1?
The Barcode.NET components have been updated to include functions which allow the components to be easily used in servlets (for example, for generating barcode images from a central IIS server)
What's new in dBarcode.NET Maxicode V3.0?
The new versions generate enhanced metafile barcode images (in addition to the pixel-aligned bitmap images of earlier versions), allowing high resolution barcode images to be created, printed or saved to memory streams of disk files.
What's new in V2.85?
What's new in V2.8?
All .NET products supporting 2D barcodes have been upgraded to allow the encoding of Unicode characters
What's new in V2.7?
The range of dBarcode.NET components has been updated to allow image physical size to be correctly stored in saved TIFF, JPEG and BMP files. The default compression used by the .NET framework on saving JPEG files has been removed to allow higher quality images to be saved in this format.
What's new in V2.6?
Added Windows Vista support.
What's new in V2.5x?
dLSoft has released updated versions of its range of dBarcode.NET components. The new versions add ASP.NET capability to the existing Windows Forms components, and each component now includes a sample ASP.NET application.
These new version components include functions to permit the collection of in-memory barcode graphics images in BMP, GIF, PNG, JPG, TIF, WMF and EMF formats, along with a Save function to permit the saving of the image to a named file. Furthermore these functions permit the target resolution to be specified by the calling system.
What's new in V2.x?
dBarcode.NET Components are designed to work with Visual Studio.NET and require the .NET run-time to be installed on any computer using the components. Example code is provided with each component for users of Visual Basic .NET, C# and J#.
