Create barcodes within any Windows application. dFont Barcode Fonts for Windows - Codabar enables you to include printable barcodes on your documents, labels or reports. In programmable applications barcodes may be created automatically from appropriate data fields. Each font package contains TrueType, OpenType, PostScript Type 1 and PostScript Type 3 fonts, and a helper program (dFont) which assists in the calculation of check digits for codes which need them. The source code of dFont is included (Visual Basic 6) so that developers can use sections of the code to automate their calculations. Each font pack includes developer's components, a DLL, an Active-X component and a managed-code component for .NET, any of which may be used for character translation, a UFL (user function library) for Crystal Reports, macros for use in Microsoft Office (versions 2000, 2003 and 2007), examples of applications for Crystal Reports, FoxPro, Visual Basic, VB.NET, and Delphi, and header files for C/C++. Ideal for virtually all printing Windows applications. All developer versions of the font products include an embedding licence so that fonts may be embedded into Acrobat pdf pages or font objects created for embedding barcodes into web pages.

What's new in V4.0?

The full range of dLSoft Barcode Fonts have been updated to allow the supporting components to operate under Standard User credentials with the Windows Vista UAC mechanism. An in-cell formula facility has been added for Excel users and each font pack now contains samples for Office 2000, 2003 and 2007.

All Barcode Fonts for Windows font packs (version 3) now include enhanced DLLs that allow default settings for barcodes to be set and stored using a dialog box, greatly simplifying the developer's work in generating a user interface.

In programmable applications barcodes may be created automatically from appropriate data fields by adapting the source code of the dFont Helper application provided with each font.

Ideal for virtually all printing Windows applications (eg. Word for Windows, Excel, Access, FoxPro, etc.) and all versions of Windows from 3.1 up.

Each font package contains TrueType, PostScript Type 1 and PostScript Type 3 fonts, and a helper program (dFont) which assists in the calculation of check digits for codes which need them.

The source code of dFont is included (Visual Basic) so that developers can copy sections of the code directly into their applications to automate their calculations.

All codes (apart from clocked codes and EAN/UPC) are provided in three aspect ratios and three weights each, in TrueType, PostScript Type 1 and PostScript Type 3 format. The weights are nominal size, -8% and -16%.; the latter may be used to compensate for ink-spread in wet-ink printing. EAN/UPC is supplied in two aspect ratios (nominal and 80% height). Where relevant fonts are provided with and without text under bars.
