A barcode-enable database system that uses ODBC data sources such as MS Access or SQL. dIndex-2k is a label and form printing application that also allows barcode data to be scanned for modification or to generate reports. Useful for Point of Sale (PoS) applications where multiple barcodes must be scanned and data retrieved for information on price, tax rates, descriptions, etc. Supports over 50 barcode types including: EAN, UPC, ITF, Code 39, Code 128, Royal Mail, etc, in addition to common 2D types

What's new in V4.8?
- For 1D features in dIndex: the addition of the EAN-14 barcode type
The PoS unit can also scan two databases, one for customers and one for products, to produce a complete ordering and invoicing/delivery note system.
Barcode encoding and printing using EAN, UPC, ITF, Code-39, Code 128, etc. - 39 different types, including Royal Mail and PostNet postal barcode. Code numbers may be fixed, sequential or extracted from the database records.
