• Sample projects and solutions modified to allow compatability with Visual Studio 11 (beta).
• A number of changes have been made to improve stack use, resulting in improved speed.
• Aztec (Full Range) symbols and QR Code symbols may now have the size defined using a Columns parameter.

• Datamatrix symbols may now be set to use a specific encoding mode (rather than automatic) for those applications that do not wish to use the Datamatrix standard.
• Kanji mode is now supported for QR Code symbols through the Unicode DLLs.
• The .Net component has been marked to AllowPartiallyTrustedCallers so that the component may be used with SQL Reporting Service.

• The Barcode 1D and 2D font kits have been updated to provide full Unicode compatibility for the DLLs and the OCXs. In addition to providing easier programming with non-western computers, the updated versions now allow Aztec, Datamatrix, PDF417 and QR Code symbols to be created using non-western character sets - such as Korean, Chinese, Arabic, etc. (The original ANSI libraries are also included in the distributions)

• Windows 7 support

dLSoft Universal 2D Barcode Font Kit includes TrueType, OpenType and PostScript fonts for Aztec, Datamatrix, PDF417 and QR Code symbols,and 32 and 64 bit DLL and Active-X components (OCX), either of which may be called from most languages to convert a character string into a barcode. The kit also includes a .NET Managed code component for the .NET Framework version 2 or later and for Visual Studio.

Universal 2D Barcode Font Kit supports the Normal, Compact and Full Range modes of Aztec symbols, the Square and Rectangular Datamatrix symbols at ECC200 standard and ISO 15434 formats 05 and 06, PDF417, Micro PDF417 and Truncated PDF417 symbols, including ISO 15434 formats 05 and 06 for Micro PDF417, and QR Code and Micro QR Code Version 2 symbols in Numeric, Alphanumeric and Byte modes. (Kanji mode is supported through Unicode data by the .NET (v 2.0) managed code component. Kanji mode is supported by the DLL if the data is converted to Unicode and then passed into the DLL as a array of byte pairs. Kanji mode is not support by the OCX).

Fonts for PDF417 are supplied with height/width ratios of 2, 3, 4 and 5 to 1.
