A royalty free OCR Engine for use with GdPicture Imaging SDK Toolkits. GdPicture Tesseract Plugin is a low cost, fast, accurate and royalty free OCR Engine for development of applications using GdPicture Imaging SDK Toollkits. Based on the Google's open source Tesseract OCR, GdPicture Tesseract Plugin brings OCR features to GdPicture Toolkits such as text recognition on specific area of an image and searchable PDF/A (PDF-OCR) creation from scanner, image or existing PDF documents.

Programming High-Speed Document Scanning Software. LEADTOOLS Forms Recognition is a high-level .NET SDK that harnesses the power of LEAD's image processing technology to intelligently identify document components and features that can be used to recognize and classify scanned documents. The LEADOOLS Forms Recognition toolkit can be used to process a list of images, return unique XML data that describes them, and then store and use that data set as a standard for recognizing future digital images. This approach is especially powerful when combined with LEADTOOLS scanning, deskew, document image clean up, OCR, ICR, OMR, MICR, redaction, and annotation functionalities for automating end-to-end (capture-to-data-processing) document handling workflows.

Convert handwritten text and numbers into machine readable strings and documents. LEADTOOLS ICR Module can convert handwritten reports into PDF (requires LEADTOOLS PDF OCR Module) or Word Doc files. It can be used in the same fashion and mixed on the same image as the OCR module (set as a recognition module to ICR as a zone option). The LEADTOOLS ICR Module supports hand written text in nearly 100 languages including 15 with dictionary support. The ICR features are included as an add-on module to extend the functionality of the LEADTOOLS Document Imaging SDK and the LEADTOOLS OCR Module by exposing the properties, methods, and events for two ICR modules to your applications.

Add OCR technology to your applications quickly and easily. LEADTOOLS OCR Module includes preset confidence and accuracy levels, artificial intelligence and built-in and user-defined lexicons for limiting the type of text to recognize within a particular zone. You can verify or correct text during and after recognition. LEADTOOLS can help with your OCR development and cut your programming time in half. With the LEADTOOLS OCR Module a developer can add many zoned areas to the same page and each zone can have its own options such as the OCR engine, filter and more.

Optical mark recognition for scanned documents. LEADTOOLS OMR Module is used for recognizing optical marks (checkmarks). Typical applications include the processing of questionnaires, ballots, educational tests and reporting and ordering sheets where the documents to be processed are form-like and filled in by hand by respondents. The frame for the mark can be rectangular, hexagonal, circular or elliptical and can be filled in by any method (x, tick, hatching, horizontal or vertical lines, etc.). The frame may be visible or invisible (scanner dropout) in the image sent for recognition. Requires either LEADTOOLS Document Imaging SDK, LEADTOOLS Medical Imaging SDK or the LEADTOOLS OCR Module.

Lightweight scanning control. Atalasoft DotTwain is a 100% managed .NET Windows Forms component that allows fast capturing of digital images from scanners, cameras and other devices supporting TWAIN. It utilizes the improvements of the TWAIN 1.9 specifications for ultra fast scanning. It works with .NET Bitmap objects and has no dependencies other than the .NET Framework. This is intended for a small footprint no-touch deployment over the Web or if you need scanning abilities without Atalasoft DotImage.

Add OCR capabilities to your DotImage applications. Atalasoft DotImage OCR is an optical character recognition module for Microsoft .NET developers giving programmers the capability to add character recognition to their applications.  Atalasoft's approach to OCR is to provide an object oriented generic interface that can support any OCR engine.  This enables users of DotImage OCR to change OCR engines with a single line of code.  It's also convenient for testing and evaluating various OCR engines.  Atalasoft currently provides three OCR engine interfaces. Their own GlyphReader engine as well as Abbyy, and the royalty-free Tesseract engines.

Add TWAIN scanning to your desktop .NET applications. Dynamic .NET TWAIN is a dedicated TWAIN component for .NET-based desktop scanning applications. It is a managed code component that enables you to acquire images from any TWAIN compatible devices. With the carefully designed interface and the built-in wizard mode, Dynamic .NET TWAIN is very easy to use. You can typically do your TWAIN job in several lines of code. Dynamic .NET TWAIN is compatible with TWAIN Specification. It supports all three image transfer modes as well as many other features. With Dynamic .NET TWAIN SDK, you can control any scanner, digital camera or capture card if it has a TWAIN driver. High-level acquisition support is provided for ease of use, and low-level functionality is provided for flexibility and control in even the most demanding applications.

Add image annotation to your desktop .NET applications. Dynamic Annotation adds annotation capabilities to your .NET applications, so that you can markup and draw objects onto a PDF document, such as underlining or highlighting, notes/comments and circles. The visible metadata superimposed does not change the underlying master PDF image. Supported objects include text, rectangle, line and eclipse. You can add one or more annotations to each page, and all annotations can be independently resized, moved, rotated and placed on different layers. You can also select multi annotations as a group.
