Features:

Automatic Multilevel Verification: Up to 5 levels of verification can be invoked including syntax, white lists, black lists, DNS and two types of actual probing SMTP connections. Simply choose the which level and supply an email address.

High-Performance Multithreaded Bulk Verification: Lighting fast multithreaded verification of an entire DataSet, DataTable, DataReader or IList with only one line of code. You can even specify the maximum number of threads to allocate from the .Net thread pool.

DNS MX Record Lookups: Simply supply an email address or domain and EasyMail.Net Verify will return the DNS mail exchange information in an easy to use collection.

Verification Levels

• Syntax
  The email address is compared against a built in regular expression to check it for syntax. The regular expression can be customized if you desire.
• Black & White Lists
  Verifies that the address passes the above test, plus: The email address is compared against application defined white and black lists. Each list supports wildcards so you can quickly add groups of addresses or entire domains.
• DNS MX Lookup
  Verifies that the address passes all above tests, plus: An attempt is made to try and locate the domain servers that handle mail for the address being verified.
• SMTP Connection
  Verifies that the address passes all above tests, plus: An attempt is made to try and connect to one of the mail servers that handle mail for the address being verified. The connection attempt is made on port 25 which is the port that SMTP mail receivers listen on.
• SMTP Message
  Verifies that the address passes all above tests, plus: An attempt is made to send a message to the email address being verified. The connection with the server is broken after the server acknoledges the email address but before a message is sent. This process verifies the address with the server, but does not actually send a message.

Note: EasyMail .Net Verify documentation is integrated with the VisualStudio.Net help system during install. It fully integrates with the Visual Studio .Net contents tab, index, search, Intellisense and dynamic help, providing quick, integrated reference when you need it.
