  I am a long time user of LEADTOOLS SDK’s. We use some of their document features (scanning, cleanup, OCR) in our application and have never had any issues. We stay on their maintenance program because their OCR seems to get better with each version and this has helped us sell upgrades for our application! • LEADTOOLS OMR Module by LEAD Technologies

  Optical mark recognition for scanned documents. LEADTOOLS OMR Module is used for recognizing optical marks (checkmarks). Typical applications include the processing of questionnaires, ballots, educational tests and reporting and ordering sheets where the documents to be processed are form-like and filled in by hand by respondents. The frame for the mark can be rectangular, hexagonal, circular or elliptical and can be filled in by any method (x, tick, hatching, horizontal or vertical lines, etc.).
