What is a .NET Control? What is the difference between a .NET Component and a .NET Control?

This is an excellent component. I have used it extensively in a number of projects for both reading and writing Excel spreadsheets and it has never let me down. It's easy to get up and running with the component and it does exactly what it says on the tin. I would highly recommend it.
