Licensing is a very complex proposition. When you add in the need to obfuscate and otherwise attempt to protect your intellectual property rights/copyright, it can really be a daunting task. Fortunately for us, the Desaware Licensing System is available and has been nicely done. It was written by Dan Appleman author of the Win32 API book, so I knew that it would be good.
