WebInput updated to version 4

WebInput is a masked input component for ASP.NET 2.0 Web development offering features such as display and edit formatting, character highlighting, validation and comprehensive support for most cultures available in .NET. WebInput provides excellent capability in formatting, masking and validating that works similar to the input behavior in Microsoft Access. Using WebInput, you can provide input in your Web application for entering fields such as Social Security Number, Extension, and Phone Number in any .NET supported cultures. You can use any mask format as long as it conforms to the Microsoft Access masking specification. WebInput 4 adds advanced data entry features for date and time input. The quick date selection lets you select a range of date with fewer clicks in less time. For more advanced date and time selection, WebInput 4 also introduces linked WebInput. WebInput.NET supports literally any browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari, Gecko based, etc.) and both Visual Studio 2005 and 2008.

WebInput can also be bought as part of WebUI Studio for ASP.NET or WebUI Studio Premier.

• Linked Date Input
  WebInput now supports a linking feature that allows you to easily link two WebInput controls for date range selection. Enable the link and WebInput automatically assigns the linked WebInput control as the end date, which should have a greater value then the start date. This time-saving feature also includes automatic validation for both the start and end date for consistently valid ranges.
• Quick Date Selection
  WebInput 4 also sports Quick Date Selection, a new user interface feature that allows users to easily populate a date value through a built-in contextual popup. This feature supports both single and linked WebInput. When used along with Linked WebInput, this feature intelligently populates both WebInput values with the chosen date range.
• Stability Improvements
  WebInput 4 includes hundreds of stability improvements to its features, including date/time, currency, masked editing, and better support for non-US regions, and much more.
