MICR Xpress lets your application read MICR content from any scanned image. It enables zone definition, recognition, image cleanup, advanced binarization, and return of confidence values.

  • Recognizes E-13B font within configurable zones
  • Returns confidence values for each character, field, and line
  • Returns alternate characters with confidence values
  • Supports configurable minimum acceptable confidence
  • Supports configurable rejection character
  • Parses MICR text into fields defined by ASC X9, Inc. (see standards document ANSI X9.100-160-1-2004)

Image Input and Cleanup Features

  • Includes ImagXpress Standard edition (read the full ImagXpress product description) for image handing, viewing, scanning, and cleanup
  • Supports in-memory image transfer between components
  • Automatically isolates MICR text from complex color backgrounds
  • Deskews, despeckles, crops borders and rotates
