DiscretePhoton H.264 Encoder supports macroblock level parallelism to utilize the full power of your multi-core CPUs without penalty (such as quality, bit-size, and encoding-latency). It is provided as a DirectX Media Object (DMO) which can be used directly or in DirectShow environments. DiscretePhoton H.264 encoder supports up to 64 simultaneous threads but the actual number of threads is determined by the number of CPU-cores (or hyper-threads) of your system.
