PFGrid for Eclipse is an SWT grid control that can be used as a standalone library or as Eclipse plug-in. It offers the following features: TreeList and Grid modes, Outlook-like grouping of columns, predefined in-place cell editors, custom cell editors, XP and Vista rendering , Excel-like cell copy, custom rendering, sorting and moving columns, drag & drop, persisting UI-settings, JFace support and more. PFGrid for Eclipse is available with source code.

PFGrid .NET is also available.

Features

• TreeList and Grid mode
  Data can be displayed as a flat matrix or as a TreeList Structure.
• In Place Editors
  Predefined editors like TreeListTextEditor, TreeListComboEditor, CheckBoxCell, ProgressBarCell. To add a custom editor you simply derive a class from TreeListEditorBase and add it to a column.
• XP, Vista and XL-Like rendering
  XPTreeListRenderer and VistaTreeListRenderer are available as default
• Persisting Layout
  The complete User Interface layout can be stored and re-loaded in XML format. Use the methods loadSettings(IDialogSettings) and saveSettings() : IDialogSettings in order to persist settings of the PFGrid. Settings changed by the user like column-width, column-visibility, grouping, sorting etc. can be persisted by using the JFace-IDialogSettings
• Custom Editors
  Cell In-place editors can be implemented. Cell editors can be defined easily by implementing the interface ITreeListCellEditor. Each SWT-Control or even Swing-Control can be used as custom editor, Also complex editors can be integrated
• Custom Renderers
  You can define your own rendering. You can define your own renderer for PFGrid. Every element of the grid can be drawn in this renderer in appropriate methods.
• Outlook Like Grouping
  Drag and Drop columns to the group-panel just like in Outlook. The columns of the widget can be grouped in an Outlook-style by dragging the column to the groupbox or programmatically (API). The grouped columns are sortable, the appearance of the groupbox is defined in the renderer and can be overridden like any other UI-element of the widget
