Xtract PPV gives you access to SAP tables, Queries, BAPIs and RFC as well as BW Cubes and ABAP Reports. Xtract PPV is a middleware component to extract data from SAP systems and load it into PowerPivot. Xtract PPV has two components: Xtract Server and Xtract Designer. Xtract PowerPivot is a set of eight extraction types which make it possible to cover the entire range of demands placed on SAP data extraction.
