Bee Mobile iPack adds Windows CE support

Bee Mobile iPack is a collection of 20+ .NET Compact Framework controls. All controls were designed to give your Windows Mobile applications a modern and attractive look taking them to a new visual level. Ease of use as well as intuitive finger-friendly interfaces are all part of iPack. Full Visual Studio designer support allows you to see your design, which in turn decreases the development time and cost.

Updates in 2011

The new version contains 25 components, of which many have been fixed and improved.

The other considerable improvement is Windows CE support. All the components except for RegionControl now run on Windows CE. A new static property - UseManagedGradient must be turned on if the operating system is missing the native GradientFill API function.

Other improvements include:

• ProgressBar component supports transparency - it can be rendered semi-transparent
• RoundTextBox component has been rewritten from scratch. It is now completely written in managed code and it can be rendered semi-transparent
• TransparentControls now contain static properties used to assign images to them. This helps to conserve memory
• TouchList and TouchListLite can load PNG images from byte array - useful when images are loaded from a database or from the Web
