Rainbow PDF Server Based Converter updated

Rainbow PDF Server Based Converter converts your files on demand or in a batch at high speed whether used in a Web environment or called from an internal server. It can convert documents in environments where Microsoft Office is not installed and all file conversions are performed entirely within Antenna House’s direct creation engine.

Updates in V5.2 MR2

The following issues have been corrected:

Conversion from PDF

  • Image data missing when converting to JPEG.
  • Image shadows not out-putted when converting to JPEG.
  • Hyphens not out-putted when converting to JPEG.

Conversion from Word

  • Checkboxes in a Word document disappear when converted to PDF.
  • Images missing in the output document.
  • A specified font was not applied.
  • Paragraph text not justified.
  • The text box in the header/footer was incorrectly positioned.
  • Text boxes in a document were incorrectly positioned.
  • Tables were not left aligned or centered as expected.

Conversion from RTF

  • Conversion of simple tables in RTF into PDF used a lot of memory.

Image Conversion

  • Reading a JPEG2000 image caused a memory leak.
