MindFusion Planner .net is a calendar and scheduling component for the .NET framework that supports yearly, monthly, weekly and daily schedule views as well as recurrent appointments. Each view provides a distinct layout of the time cells and can display events such as appointments and meetings. The timetable view displays a day's schedule where the columns represent dates, locations, tasks or contacts, and the rows represent hours or minute intervals.

Gallery View - The gallery view provides a highly interactive user interface, containing multiple items with multiple functionalities. It supports adding extra controls, which allows you to add extra functionality to a page.

Essential Maps for WPF and Silverlight

Shape-File Layers - The shape-file layer is the most important component of Essential Maps. It provides a mechanism to upload shape files, which essentially form the content of a map. A shape file is a vector storage format used to collect geometric location information and associated attributes. Shape files spatially describe a map's geometries: points, polylines, and polygons.
Color Palettes - Color palettes are sets of colors that can be applied to a map. With five built-in color palettes, shapes in a map can be differentiated using a varied spread of colors. Using the CustomColorPalette property, you can create your own customized palette.
Zooming and Panning - Zooming and panning is one of the most important functionalities of Essential Maps. By zooming, you can focus on a map's content, essentially magnifying it, or you can shrink it, providing a better overview. By panning, you can traverse a map's regions, navigating in all directions.
Commands - Essential Maps provides several commands that enable users to perform commonly used operations like zooming, panning, and refreshing.
ScreenTips - A ScreenTip is a small pop-up window that displays information when the pointer hovers over a region (shape) in a map. ScreenTips are useful when seeking information specific to a region. They can contain a variety of data, such as region name, or latitude and longitude. With Essential Maps, ScreenTips can be customized by using the AttributesItemSource property.
Navigation Control - The Navigation control is built into Essential Maps. With this control, a map can be panned in any direction and zoomed in or zoomed out. The Navigation control can be placed to the top, bottom, left, or right of a map, or it can be hidden.
Layers - Layers allow a map to load multiple shape files through the shape-file layer. Different layers can house different content. The shapes being displayed can change based on the zoom factor. When the zoom-factor reaches a specified value, the content of a map will change to the corresponding shape-file layer.

Windows Forms

Spelling Checker - The SpellChecker control comes with custom dictionary support, which allows users to add words to the dictionary during run time. This control can also be set to ignore uppercase and mixed-case letters, numbers, URLs, and e-mail addresses.
Essential Edit Right-to-Left Language Support - The Edit control supports rendering content from right to left, enabling editing and syntax highlighting for cultures where right-to-left (RTL) languages are predominant. The RTL feature is comprehensive—supporting bookmarks, line numbers, collapse rectangles, context menus, ToolTips, and all the other features you would find in a left-to-right layout.

Details of What's New in v4.0:

Schedule Notes
Notes are images/icons that can be attached to a schedule item. Their purpose is to alert the user to an item for that schedule. They are fixed in place and may not be moved with the mouse. Schedule Notes can either be fixed to the schedule so they are always visible, or they can be set to a specific date and time. Notes support tool tips, and respond to mouse over and click events.

Line Arrows
Line arrows are directional arrows that appear at the left and/or right side of the schedule to indicate other time bars that exist before or after the current view in the schedule. Their default appearance is a solid colored triangle, which can be replaced with custom images. They respond to mouse over and click events.

New methods:
TimeBarsBeforeSchedule and TimeBarsAfterSchedule are used in conjuction with Line Arrows to determine what time bars exist outside of the current view.
ScrollToDateTime method allows the schedule presentation to be changeed, bringing timebars into view. This makes it easy to navigate to other time bars by clicking on a line arrow.

New Properties:

AllowHorzMoves - Determines if time bars can be moved horizontally with the mouse
AllowNewBars - Determines if new time bars can be created with the mouse.
AllResizeBars - Determines if time bars can be resized with the mouse.
GuideDashPattern - For setting default dash patterns for all Guide Lines.
GuideLineWidth - For setting new default widths for all Guide Lines.
ValuePoint Event has 2 new properties - Font and ForeColor. An override to the default values.
TimeBarMouseEnter and TimeBarMouseLeave events. Two new properties that allow the developer to determine where a time bar action took place.
TimeBarsAt : Accepts a mouse point and returns a collection of all time bars at a given point.
dbiScheduleObject contains a new property called MajorTimeLine allows for the presentation (or not) of a full vertical line between major time segments on the Time Scale Ruler.
If a line item is marked as read only, vertically dragging a time bar is not allowed. Previously a drag motion would allow the timebar to show in the drag and then snap back on the release. Now, a timebar cannot be dragged when set to read only.
ItemMouse Over - an event that now reports when the cursor is over a guideline.

Version 2010 vol 1 also adds automatic time cell sizing and smart synchronization in Scheduler Reports.

XtraScheduler Suite includes: days view and time rulers, week view, multi-week view, multiple resources display, date navigator and more. The Day view offers the most detailed picture of events over a single day or a few days. It displays events within vertical timelines where an event's top-most edge corresponds to its start time and its bottom-most edge is the finish time. The Multi-Week view is the least detailed view and is designed to allow your end users to browse and analyze long-term plans. This view positions days one after another horizontally so that they construct weeks while individual weeks are placed one under another. The XtraScheduler Suite also includes a DateNavigator control that provides intuitive access to specific time frames.
