The twin chart will allow the alignment of two horizontal or vertical charts in a single chart area, sharing a single Y (or X axis). This specific charting requirement in SSRS has been requested from many of Nevron's customers and it is another unique feature since it is not supported in the standard SSRS chart control.

Parameters and drill down reports - This exciting new feature allows for the development of interactive dashboards and drill down reports. Parameters can be consumed from any expression, they can be passed as arguments to the newly added JumpToReport action. Parameters can also be directly integrated into any SharePoint page.
SharePoint List and WebPartTable data sources connection - The Chart/Gauge Web Part has the ability to connect to SharePoint List and WebPartTable data sources that reside in a StaticSite (fixed site), CurrentSite (dynamic site) and CurrentWeb (dynamic web). The site resolution mode allows you to develop web parts templates that can be directly deployed to production environments without the need to refactor the data source connection.
WebParts Config File - The new Web Parts Config File provides the ability to globally (per site-server) configure some user interface elements visibility and some aspects of the web parts behavior through a configuration file. This allows you to fine tune the web parts to perform better and more reliably in the context of your SharePoint environment.
Charts/Gauges are now using deferred rendering - This allows for the instant showing of very complex SharePoint pages as the Nevron Chart/Gauge Web Part will defer the data aggregation and rendering tasks in separate AJAX requests to the server. This allows for faster data processing that fully utilizes your server capabilities, as separate AJAX requests can be handled by different threads of your server. It also helps the user to actually see what is currently being processed, opposed to the immediate rendering mode in which the SharePoint page gets served to the client after all web parts have aggregated the data and rendered the respective visual representation.
Automatic Refresh - The Chart/Gauge Web Part can now be instructed to automatically refresh itself at the client side, at user specified intervals of time. This allows for the development of real time dashboards that automatically update themselves at the client side through AJAX, and eliminates the need for manual web page refresh.
Web Part Designer - The Chart/Gauge designer now show the current user, site and web and other info about the context of which they are performing the web part editing.
Image Fill Style - A new Image Fill Style has been added to all Fill Style editors. This feature allows you to display image based textures on all chart elements that have an associated fill style.
Connection to Custom Web Parts - Provides the ability to connect the Chart/Gauge web part to other web parts that implement the IWebPartTable interface. This allows you to develop custom web parts that surface any type of data, that cannot be accessed by the currently available data source connections.
Performance Improvements - The Chart/Gauge control document building and rendering has been completely revised. As a result you should see significant speed improvement.
Non-Overlapping Data Labels - All charting types (Cartesian, Polar and Radar charts) now support automatic data label layout. The data label layout prevents labels from overlapping in both ordinal and scatter charts and works in 2D and 3D appearance modes.
Const Lines and Const Ranges with texts - The Chart axes have been extended to support const lines with texts as well as const ranges.
Axis Orientation - All Cartesian axes now support the axis orientation feature.
XML formatted texts - The XML formatted texts feature is extended to support additional XML tags that allows you to specify the text background and border.
Line and Point Charts data resampling - The Line and Point charting types support options for automatic data resampling. This allows for the visualization of very large datasets.
Chart Legends Improvements - The legends have additional layout options - added are the Horizontal and Vertical wrap options that allow the legend to automatically wrap the items when the horizontal or vertical space allocated for it is exceeded.
Chart Aspect in 2D - Chart areas have additional options that allow finer control over the chart aspect in 2D.
Additional Features - The Area, Line, Pie, Error Bar, Step Line, Point and Surface charting types have additional features.
New Chart/Gauge Examples - Several new Chart examples have been included with the new version.

Localization Support
The chart is now fully localizable. If you are interested in developing a localized charting solution ask us for a localization dictionary or take the time to localize the chart by yourself, by translating the dictionary provided with Nevron .NET Vision.
XY and XYZ Clustered Point Series
The Point series has been extended to support clustering in both 2D and 3D mode. Clustering is a feature that allows you visualize large data sets with fewer visual points, by grouping points that are very close to each other.
XY and XYZ Sampled Line Series
The Line series has been extended to support sampling in both 2D and 3D. Sampling is a feature that groups together adjacent line segments and analyzes their minimum and maximum values as well as the line overall direction for these segments. Instead of plotting a line segment for each individual pair of points in the data set when using sampling the line series paints grouped points. This allows for the interactive visualization of lines with hundreds of thousands of data points.
XY Sampled Area Series
The Area series has been extended to support sampling in 2D. When using sampling, the area will ignore settings for markers and data labels and will also automatically resample the data storage depending on the size of the chart on the screen. This allows for the visualization of massive amount of data.
Work Calendar
All date/time related scales supported by the component (date time scale, value timeline scale and range timeline scale) now support a feature allowing them to skip date time ranges from the scale. This feature is commonly used in financial and project management applications, where non working days and hours are not plotted.
Style Sheets
The predefined styles sheets have been extended with four new style sheets - Black, Black Multicolor, White and White Multi Color. Both predefined and custom styles sheets can now be serialized in binary and XML format.
State Indicators
The embedded gauges in the component now support state indicators. State indicators are used to represent a value as a visual state and are useful in various types of dashboards.
Vector Image Export
The component can now export to the following vector formats - PDF, SWF (Flash), XAML (Silverlight), EMF (Extended Metafile).
Flash Animations
When exporting in Flash image format the component can now generate animated charts. You can apply predefined animation themes to the control or individual charts, or create your own animations based on the extensive set of available animation options.

Any Windows Forms control can now be integrated into the drawing document. Drawings that embed windows forms controls can be serialized. WinForm controls serialization is implemented as a design surface (very similar to the one that Visual Studio uses).

Diagram Layout Improvements

Performance improvements in the following layouts: Layered Graph, Orthogonal, Radial, Single Cycle, Balloon.
Some layouts (for example the Orthogonal Graph Layout) can now take advantage of multicore CPUs to improve performance even more.
Force directed layouts now have a property MaxTime that determines the maximum time the layout is allowed to operate. When this time is exceeded the layout is interrupted and the results produced by the current iteration are used.

Map Improvements

Support for value and range fill rules. This feature helps you colorize any map in a data driven fashion.
Support data binding to external tables. This feature helps you natively extend the information available for each ESRI shape, by attaching tabular data to maps.
No need for dBASE driver for reading dbf map data.

Miscellaneous Improvements

The TextureMapping layout of texture fill styles (Gradient, Advanced Gradient, Hatch and Image) is now honored by path primitives. In RelativeToViewer mode when you rotate shapes the texture will not rotate. In RelativeToObject mode when you rotate shapes textures will rotate too. Older versions rendered path primitives always with RelativeToViewer texture mapping (e.g. RelativeToObject was not supported).
The drawing preview manager has an option to suppress shape reconnection on shape move and drag and drop. When ReconnectOnMove is true the diagram will behave as it did before - reconnect the moved/drag-dropped shapes. When ReconnectOnMove is false the diagram will not break shape connections on move (1D shapes plugs and 2D shapes outward port connections).
The NMouseWheelScrollAndZoomTool has been redesigned to allow arbitrary configuration of whether zoom and/or scroll must be performed on normal or control keys modified mouse wheel.

Vector Image Export
The diagram can now be exported to the following additional vector image formats: PDF, Flash, Silverlight, EMF (Extended Metafile).

Flash Animations
When exporting to Flash image format the diagram can now generate animated drawings. Animation options are implemented as a style attribute and are available for each shape.

NButton
NButton control now can be drawn with rounded corners.
RoundedCornersType with combination of ButtonRoundEdgeValue properties determines how the rounded edges should be evaluated.
NUIDocument
The NUIDocument has been extended with ability of changing the text in the tab part by double clicking on it. This feature is turned on when AllowEditTabText property of the NDockManager is set to true.
NTreeViewEx and NTreeList
Both controls can have more than one mouse button set to SelectionButton property.
NDataGridView
NDataGridView has new custom column and cell, respectively - NDataGridViewProgressBarColumn and NDataGridViewProgressBarCell.

Fixes

The layout of NButton text and image relation now works identical as in Windows forms Button control.
The check ContextMenuEnabled in NCaptionPanel is working correctly.
NTabControl.TabPages.Insert(int index, NTabPage page) method inserts the node in specified position.
Painting of some controls under Vista and Windows 7 when skin is applied is fixed.
