Drag and Drop Simplicity

Install DocConverter (and activePDF Server) onto a single server and then define a folder to scan. All your users need to do is drag and drop one of the supported file types onto a "hot folder" that you share. Since there is no client-based application to launch, your users can use the interface they already know, the Windows Explorer.

Integration

Need to integrate document conversion with your existing web-based or client/server application? DocConverter has a remote submission COM component making integration with existing infrastructures as easy as a single method call. Just Submit your document to your DocConverter server and conversion takes place on the fly.

activePDF DocConverter's Active Scripting interface makes post-conversion processing easy as well. Emailing completed documents, updating a database or moving them around your file servers are just a few of the tasks that can be accomplished with just a few lines of any supported ActiveScripting language.

This is not an exhaustive list. All Graphics Formats are supported by the "Generic" processor only. Certain processors may give better fidelity than others with the same document. If exact appearance is important to you, we advise you to use the native processor (e.g. Microsoft Word). Certain portions of this software are still beta test and, as a result, particular formats may not convert. With embedded OLE object, this list could grow to hundreds of converter types.
