Licensing

Machine Specific License: The Machine Specific License is a "machine-specified node license". It allows any user to use astah, but only on a specified machine. Only one machine can be specified per License.The Machine Specific License is a a machine-fixed license that limits both the operation period and the support period (1 year). It is not possible to renew the support period. Please purchase a new Machine Specific License if you would like to extend the operational period.Please be aware that astah cannot be used after the operation period expires.

Node Count License

A Node Count License grants users to use astah* for one year with full support service. The astah* products no longer run after the operation period expires.
Node Count License is valid for astah* professional, astah* UML 6.1 or later versions
Activation of one Node Cont License can be done only one PC
You must purchase licenses for numbers of computers to use astah* products on
Each user uses a License key file which is provided by a License management administrator
Each user needs to set up and activate the license key to start using astah* on each PC
It is unable to activate licenses if it exceeds the number of purchased licenses
Extension of existing term of Node Count License is available by purchasing another Node Count License

To License manager of Node Count Licenses: A license manager should register the Node Count License and each user does not register individually. Please download the "astah* NodeCount License Registration.pdf" from the Evals & Downloads section for more information.
