Aurora for Architects
Aurora for Architects, a standalone design application written for software architects who design user interfaces for .NET applications, authors traditional style dialog boxes and windows using common controls. Aurora generates the XAML markup required by Visual Studio for developing .NET 3.5 applications and is used for creating rich graphics intended for use in WPF software applications.

Aurora for Architects supports loose XAML files and works in multiple layers like many graphics design products; supports 2D vector graphics and has power brush options for specifying linear, radial, visual, image and video brushes. The output from Aurora for Architects is optimized so that the individual graphics can be easily integrated with.NET code-behind.

Aurora for Architects can reduce the delays and costs created by using the traditional user interface design and development process. Typically the designer and developer have no direct interaction and are usually using different file formats to accomplish their tasks. The developer will often make changes to the layout or the way a control works because of a limitation of the application being used, or because the design doesn’t necessarily translate well in the development environment.
