Reduce your payment card processing fees. NovaXpress SDK is payment card gateway for processing credit, debit, purchase and gift cards. It is designed to communicate directly with Elavon (formally called Nova Information Systems), bypassing 3rd party providers, their systems, networks, processing and service fees. Using the NovaXpress SDK offering, merchants can negotiate their fee structure directly with Elavon. Merchants can also eliminate points of failure and security exposures introduced by 3rd party providers.
NovaXpress SDK is a Java class library that supports credit, debit, purchase and gift card transaction types. NovaXpress SDK has received Elavon’s certification for their eCommerce (card-not-present), Retail (card-present), and Mail Order/Telephone Order (MOTO, card-not-present) market segments. It has also received several IBM Certifications including SUSE and Redhat Linux running on their xSeries, pSeries, zSeries and iSeries platforms. This product has also been validated running on Windows and several UNIX platforms. It should function on any Java 1.4, 1.5 or 1.6 enabled system.
Security features supported by the product include AVS, CVV2, Luhn Formula validation, Visa 3DSecure, Mastercard SecureCode, 128-bit and 256-bit AES encryption and MD5 message digests. NovaXpress SDK uses a communications protocol called Secure Sockets (SSL), to encrypt and transmit data between the merchant’s and Elavon’s server. Secure Sockets is an industry standard security protocol that provides communications privacy over the Internet. This protocol allows client/server applications to communicate in a way that is designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, or message forgery. The encryption level used by NovaXpress SDK is 128-bit. The connection is managed by NovaXpress SDK and requires no SSL programming skills.
