This component library simplifies the process of managing word pronunciations for Swift API (Cepstral), SAPI 4, SAPI 5, Nuance Vocalizer and VoCon 3200 lexicon formats to use with your favorite speech recognizers and synthesizers.

Chant LexiconKit is comprised of software components that handle the complexities of managing and persisting word pronunciations. This allows your application to enhance the quality of speech recognition and speech synthesis and offer administrative features for maintaining word pronunciations.

LexiconKit includes ActiveX, C++, C++Builder, Delphi, Java, .NET Framework, Silverlight, and Web component library formats to support all your programming languages and provides sample projects for popular IDEs.

The goal of lexicon management is to adjust to the end user manner of speaking for enhanced speech recognition accuracy and speech synthesis quality. With LexiconKit your applications can:

Within Chant Developer Workbench interactive environment, you can:

• Create and edit lexicon using XML
• Create and edit Vocalizer and VoCon user dictionary text file (.dct)
• Generate word pronunciation phonemes
• Edit word pronunciation phonemes
• Import and export lexicon word pronunciations to binary (.dat) or self-extracting file (.exe)
• Compile and persist Vocalizer and VoCon user dictionary to binary file (.dcb, .dcc)
