Automate the scheduling and distribution of Crystal Reports. CRD will send your Crystal Report as an email attachment, send it to a printer, send it to a fax or output it to a selected folder. Schedule reports to run at a specific date and time or Hourly, Daily, Week Days, Weekly or Monthly. Export file formats include Microsoft Word, Rich Text (RTF), Excel, HTML, PDF, Text, RPT. Reports may be sent by email, sent to a printer or fax, or exported to a specified folder using any of the available export formats. The same report can be scheduled to be run multiple times with different parameters, formats, frequency and destinations. "Package Reports" feature allows you to select a number of different reports to be selected to create a "package". The package is then sent in a single e-mail, or output into a single defined folder. Modify a report's formula fields (including Record Selection and Group Selection).

Delivery
- CRD 5 introduces automated FAX delivery. CRD 5.0 will fax your reports to one or more recipients without any manual intervention
- Send a text-based report to a cell phone by sms, use Automation Schedules to send sms alerts at set times, or use Event Based schedules to send an alert when a database event occurs
- File transfer your automatically exported file using RAS or Dial-Up Networking to a PC at another location
- Dynamic Group Bursting adds much called for functionality to Dynamic Scheduling. With this feature, it is now possible to identify a group, and send the resulting burst to a database specified (or statically entered) email address. Dynamic Group Bursting is similar to standard Dynamic Scheduling, however each group in the report is treated as a report export in its own right and delivered to a specified email, printer, fax, etc.
Formats
- Export reports to Lotus 123 format (wks, wk1, wk3)
- Export Reports to TIF format
Excel Export Additions
- Burst report groups into individual worksheets in a single workbook
- Export the constituents of a package into individual worksheets in a single workbook
PDF Export Additions

- Schedule Database Storage: Ability to store your CRD schedule database in a local SQL database installation or via ODBC to your choice of database
- Multi-Activity schedules: Email, Fax, Print, FTP, SMS and File Transfer the same exported file from the same schedule
- Scheduled System Backups: CRD will automatically perform a backup at scheduled intervals

Key Features:
- Export to PDF with navigation tree (Bookmarks)
- Secure reports with PDF, Excel, PGP and Zip encryption
- Run as a Service - The scheduler can be set to run as a service. This means that you do not have to be logged in if you are using Windows NT, 2000 or XP. This greatly increases your network security
- Run as an application If you are using Windows 98, you can still run the scheduler as an application
- Intuitive interface - CRD has an "explorer" like interface and requires little or no training to understand and use
- Easy to use - You are guided through setting up of schedules by a wizard driven interface in plain everyday English. Advanced Users If you are confident enough, you can abandon the wizards and use the rich context-sensitive (right-click) menus
- Single reports - Schedule single reports to email, print, fax or output to folder
- Packaged Reports - If your report "package" consists of a number of single reports, you can schedule the entire package into a single email or a single folder
- FAX - You can fax your report
- Variety of Email Integration - Choice of MAPI integration, SMTP capabilities, and CRDMail (CRD's own internal email engine) to email your reports effortlessly
- Export formats - Acrobat (PDF), Crystal Reports (RPT), HTML (HTML), Excel (XLS), Word (DOC), Rich Text Format (RTF), Comma Separated Values (CSV), Text (TXT), Tab Separated and XML
- Actions - Email, Print, Fax, Output to Folder
- Standard Schedules - Daily, Weekly, Every week day, Monthly, Quarterly
- Repeat Schedules - Facility to repeat daily reports every 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 etc. hours until a selected time
- Intelligent Failure Management - Email alert, write to a log file, or both if schedule fails to execute. If the report returns no data, send as normal, send an alternative email, both or none. If the report fails (due to database overload, for example), retry x times before giving up
- Embedded Database Login Credentials - If your database requires logon credentials, this can be fed in by CRD. If your package consists of different reports from different databases with different logons, CRD will cope with this as well
- Multi-Database integration - If you can see your database from the crystal reports, CRD can schedule it. OLEDB & ODBC are the main methods of connection. This makes CRD compatible with SQL, ORACLE, ACCESS and lots more
- Crystal Versions CRD works with reports written in all Crystal Reports versions including V7, 8, V9,V10 and V11 (XI)
