We have been extremely pleased with the technical sophistication of LiveControls. It has allowed us to extend the functionality in our own products without the significant investment to know and master all of the technology issues associated with AJAX. By far one of the best new technologies to come out in quite a while.

OPC Web Controls is a suite of real-time web controls to integrate into ASP.NET web applications. All of the components communicate with local and remote OPC Systems Services providing data from OLE for Process Control severs. We chose PowerWEB LiveControls components for the ability to render changed properties without having a page refresh. The implementation is much simpler than developing AJAX routines to provide the same functionality; the components are natively inherited to provide integration into our customers ASP.NET web applications. The few times I contacted technical support to implement LiveControls I found the answers to be responsive and right-on with the subject material. This great support together with a simple-to-use product cut the overall development time of our product to a fourth of the projected time. The sales staff was also very friendly and provided the exact solution we were looking for to implement the PowerWEB LiveControls product.
