Active DLL allows one component to be used for both on-form-control use in Visual Basic and MS Access, and to handle standard DLL calls from C/C++ to create, view/print, copy and save barcode images. Right-click access to barcode property pages from forms. Property dialog available from C/C++. [The dBarcode-2D Developers Kit does not support 1D barcodes].

• Each unit generates both a pattern string# for bars and spaces and a metafile picture or bitmap containing the barcode image. The picture may be displayed, printed, saved or passed to the clipboard by the user's code

System requirements

Stand-alone program can copy barcode image to clipboard or save image as file (.WMF, PCX, BMP, EPS). OLE-2 Embedded Server, In-Place Server and Automation facilities require an OLE-2 compatible client application (such as Word) or Visual Basic 4.0 or later. Calling DLL unit requires Microsoft Visual Basic-4 or VBA (e.g. Access 97), Visual C/C++ or compatible Windows development system. Delphi component require Delphi 5 or later.
