dbiList for .NET by DBI Technologies

Add interactive data presentations to your applications. dbiList for .NET is an ideal control for detailed data presentations offering end-user multi column sorting, node item drag and drop, search and filtering features. dbiList for .NET brings together advanced ListView controls with multi-node TreeView controls. With dbiList's integrated TreeView - full hierarchical data presentations and drill down capabilities are only a mouse click away. dbiList incorporates Microsoft Excel style resizing, multi column sorting, independent cell level formatting and search capabilities, XML Read and Write, report functions and more. Designed for Visual Studio 2005 and fully compatible with Visual Studio 2008 dbiList ships complete with C# and VB.NET samples for both VS2005 and VS2008.

dbiList for .NET brings together the best in ListView controls with the ultimate in multi-node TreeView controls. Not a replacement for a full featured report writer, however, dbiList removes the time consuming task of creating canned, drill-down reports, and giving developers an effective option for developing data presentations replete with formatting, styling and built-in printing.

dbiList for .NET Main Features:

XML Support: Read and write XML files at design and run time that describes the current presentation (write) or change the current presentation (read). Additional XML support (Style Files) allow the control to be placed onto a form. When the control goes to run time, it will search for thestyle file. If found, it will change it's appearance as it is first drawn allowing the developer to change the look and feel of the control without having to re-compile the host application

Reporting: Built-in print preview and print report functions. Developers have control over report presentation including page headers and page footers

Body Text: Vertical item resizing programmatically or interactive user input. Definable, start - end columns and horizontal offsets influence auto text wrapping

ListView & TreeView: All in one control. List and Tree View functionality with great presentation quality and features - all at the flip of a switch (property)

Drag-n-Drop: in and out of the control. Use dbiList custom events for moving and incorporating data

Search & Sort: built-in sorting based on data type also sort method for building more complex developer defined sorting
