This is my SMSC connectivity requirement:
a. Using UCP protocol.
b. Direct SMSC connection using TCP/IP protocol
Can the above requirements be met by this component.

Dear Sir,

this is exactly what the SMSC Connectivity SDK does. It manages TCP/IP-based connections to the SMSC using various high-level protocols including UCP, SMPP, Sema OIS or Nokia CIMD2.

I have to develop a sms solution for our call center. This solution will also be used in other call centers of my firm in other countries, on own servers in their countries. Which licence type do I need, if I just want to give my application to the country-responsible and SMS sending should work?
If it is the prof license, where can I get it and how much will it cost in Switzerland?

We need to connect to three SMSCs to receive/send SMSs. We want to use one (1) Server PC and one (1) Static IP to do this. Is this possible? If not, how many PCs do we need or how many IP addresses and of course how many licenses?

Hello,

Basically you can create multiple instances of the SMSC connectivity SDK on the same server in order to connect to multiple SMSC. You would need just a single server license for your project realization.

Hello,

I'd like to ask if SMSC Connectivity SDK is capable of manipulating logo/ringotone sending through an SMPP connection and if so is this possible for other brands except Nokia ? (eg Ericsson, Alcatel etc).

Hello,

The SMSC connectivity SDK support sending and receiving ringing tones and logos through the SMPP component. At the moment we have only tested the sending of logos for Nokia and ringtones for Nokia, Motorola and Sagem.

After checking the evaluation in VB with the real SMSC , I decided to buy the SMSC Connectivity kit.
Now I have got licence key. So VB compilation is Ok. But ASP is not Ok. The CreateObject got failed. Although I registered the dll using regsvr32.
Please help me to solb the problem.

May you can try to unregister and register the component, again. Furthermore please try whether you are able to reproduce these issue with one of the ASP samples provided by the SMSC connectivity SDK.

we have installed ur product SMSC Connectivity SDK v2.1

we had some scripts from an other server. there was the same component installed. we become the error at the bottom.
after this we searched the web for others they have the same problem. no chance.
then we readed on ur site this with the unregistering etc. we have deinstalled unregistered registered only the dll without any installprocedure.
no chance. we get only the error.

the error above is from the script-sample of u. we have seen u set the Option Explicit but u don't declare the oCMID2(but an oUCP).

we have all do what was possible but the error still occurs.

we use an M$ Win 2003 Server Web Edition with all actual patches.

ERROR-MSG:

Unfortunately, we must tell you, that the SMSC connectivity SDK does not support these type of charge parameter in the SMPP protocol.

Hi, I've just tried SMSC Connectivity and run its VB example in my server, but I've got a problem, everytime a message received, the program crashes. However it sucess to sending message. Any solution to solve this problem?

this problem is solved by version 1.0.0.9 which should be available for download at ComponentSource by April 26, 2002.
