SMSC Connectivity SDK by Derdack
Accelerate the development of two-way SMS and EMS messaging applications. The SMSC Connectivity SDK prevents you from the time-consuming implementation of sophisticated low-level communication protocols (UCP, SMPP, Sema OIS, CIMD2) needed for high-speed messaging applications with direct SMSC access. The SMSC Connectivity SDK comes with a number of additional features including message splitting and concatenation as well as WAP Push support and automated connection maintenance. Your application will be "mobile messaging enabled" within a few days.
Customer benefits
Drastic reduction of required deployment efforts through a simplified developer API
Encapsulation of SMSC communication protocols saves up to a few months of development time
COM API guarantees integration with a broad range of developer tools including Internet Information Server (ASP pages)
Worldwide deployment possible, tested with all major SMSCs
Easy-to-use and well-structured developer API
Comprehensive documentation and samples
Features
COM developer toolkit for mobile messaging
Enables sending and receiving of SMS/EMS via direct SMSC links (up to 40 messages/second)
Encapsulates all major SMSC communication protocols: SMPP, UCP, Sema OIS and Nokia CIMD2
Supports all major SMS formats including 7bit ASCII, 8bit binary, EMS, Unicode, Flash-SMS, Picture Messages, Logos, Ringing Tones, Group Graphics, Smart Messages
SMSC connectivity for both TCP/IP and X.25

The SMSC Connectivity SDK 3.0 comes with a number of new features including message splitting and concatenation as well as WAP Push support and automated connection maintenance. Version 3.0 also comes with new sample code. The license model has been revised to reflect different throughput requirements.
What‘s New in SMSC Connectivity SDK V3.0?
Automated reconnection options in the event the connection goes down
Message splitting for text as well as binary messages. Message length validation is therefore obsolete
WAP push capability in UCP and SMPP with support for both service indication as well as service load types
SMPP data_sm support
Addition of property for seeing the number of messages sent e.g. if a message is split
If the data is coded in GSM 7-bit alphabet, new compression options enable one to pack or unpack 8 characters per 7 octets as per 3G TS 23.038 specification
Direct access to the protocol PDU (as a string, e.g. a hex string for SMPP)
Properties for enabling logging as well as log file rotation. In addition, logging is now more detailed, making it easier to debug issues.
New samples in the following languages: Java and VB.NET. The samples have also been enhanced so that it is easier to get up and running.
A new licensing model has been implemented. Throughput and number of recipients have been added. Therefore, pricing can be further adapted to your actual requirements.
The threading model has been revised to ensure that threading safely executes with the apartment threading model
