I would like to say thank you to the developers of this product. I needed to produce some preliminary documentation for a component. As many developers know, compiled help files are very handy and professional. I am sure that, like me, many of my peers have been loathed to learn how to use the HTML Help Workshop. On top of this, the idea of laboring through the type library and IDL to produce the compiled HTML help files makes it out of reach for internal use.
I am now able to produce HTML help documentation, for whatever use, in under a minute. The wizard style interface is direct and logical. The output from this utility is professional, well organized, and complete. Yes, this free utility promotes the full blown product, but, in a subtle and reasonable manner.
Caveat Emptor: You still need to download the HTML Help Workshop and install it before you can get any output from the utility. I tryed running it without the workshop installed at first. Of course, it just asked me to install it and provided a link to download it from Microsoft. Not the level of thought provided in most free utilities. Well done.
