For basic color and grayscale image processing. Atalasoft DotImage Photo is a raster imaging toolkit that can add advanced image viewing, editing, and printing to an application.  DotImage Photo compliments GDI+ in .NET by adding more advanced codecs, image processing, and UI controls.  DotImage Photo includes an imaging class library, and Windows Forms control library.  The DotImage Photo class library is used for all image processing, encoding, and decoding, in Windows Forms or ASP.NET WebForms applications.  It is broken up into logical namespaces such as Imaging, Codecs, Drawing, and ImageProcessing.  The Windows Forms library includes visual UI controls for viewing, printing, and rubberbanding images.  Full documentation is integrated into Microsoft Visual Studio .NET.

• Extends the AJAX enabled WebImageViewer to add annotations support to the existing image viewing, panning, zooming, and editing control

• Supports IE6, IE7, FireFox, and Safari
• Renders annotations stored within an image file or an external file
• Uses same mechanism and data layer as the Windows Forms Annotations module
• Move, resize, and create annotations within the browser
• Annotations are updated from the server once placed, or resized fully enabling the rendering of all built-in annotations as well as any custom annotations

Improvements to DotTwain Scanning Module

• CreateDeviceSession method was added to the Acquisition object to allow a temporary Device object to be created, used and disposed. This is required for some network scanning situations that may change the device identity between sessions
