Our prices include ComponentSource technical support and, for most downloadable products, an online backup and a FREE upgrade to the new version if it is released within 30 days of your purchase.  All sales are made on our standard Terms and Conditions and subject to our Return Policy. Please contact us if you require any licensing option not listed, including volume licensing and previous versions.

Licensing

Atalasoft SDK Licensing Overview
Atalasoft offers several deployment methods. If your expected deployment method does not fit into one of the categories outlined below, or if you have any questions regarding DotImage licensing, please contact ComponentSource Sales to discuss.

Development Licensing

• The development SDK includes a license for a single named developer. Each additional developer requires a developer/build license (these are 1/2 the cost of an SDK license).

DotImage Photo, Photo Pro, Document Imaging and DotTwain can be used to develop an unlimited number of named single user client applications as long as active maintenance is in place on all your development SDKs.

Deployment Licensing

• Desktop Application License - You may distribute with no royalty payments any number of applications that are deployed to a personal computer (PC) as long as active maintenance is in place on all your development SDKs. Only ISIS and non-Tesseract OCR add-on SDKs require runtime royalties.
• Server License - These are sold as "Standard server" [up to 8 cores on one server] or "Unlimited core server" [unlimited cores on one server]. Server licenses for DotImage, DotTwain or DotImage add-on’s are required when deploying to a browser or from a server. Server licenses are also required for service applications that accept connections from other machines or for headless processes that watch folders or other datasources for work originating from other machines. Each production server requires its own license.
• Unlimited Server Deployment - This annual agreement would allow for unlimited server deployment per application and SDK licenses for the application development team for a low annual fee. This license is not available for ISIS or non-Tesseract OCR add-ons.
• Elastic Cloud Deployment - This agreement is for elastic cloud deployment to services such as Amazon EC2 and Microsoft Azure. Billing is on a quarterly basis and is based on the maximum number of instances engaged in the given quarter.
