Very nice product with lots of great functionality, but it does NOT provide an OCX interface, which prevented it from being used in some development environments.

I have been using this product since Version 4, and I've always found it simple and reliable. We had a few problems in the "early days" with encoding of foreign-language characters (French accents, etc.) but after contacting tech support at ComponentSource, we were able to resolve these by setting the correct body encoding and characterset properties. Overall, we've had this component in-place for a couple of years now, and it is something that I can just 'forget about' since it always works, and I can concentrate on coding my system, rather than worrying about SMTP ports or MAPI, or all that other stuff you have to take into account if you do the email stuff yourself. And that is the way a component should be.
