ExpressMasterView is a new 100% native VCL component by Developer Express and is specifically designed for Delphi and C++Builder developers who need to represent multiple datasets in a hierarchical manner within a single control. With ExpressMasterView, you can finally give your end-users a way to view master/detail and self-referencing data in an intuitive manner.
The ExpressMasterView allows you to organize data into levels, with each level representing a different dataset. Every single level includes its own properties, methods, and events which can be used to completely manage it's behavior and runtime display.
The ExpressMasterView was written from scratch and has no dependencies on any other Developer Express components. This means that you do not need to own a copy of the ExpressQuantumGrid to utilize the power of the ExpressMasterView in your next application.
Note: ExpressMasterView is a read/only control. You can display and view data within it, but data editing is not available.
