All-in-one online documentation system. exxDoc is a Web application that helps you create any kind of technical documentation, such as manuals, help files, and FAQs. A multi-user, multi-language, and multi-database system, exxDoc allows editing of content by multiple authors at the same time and additionally allows editing in multiple languages. The exxDoc backend supports Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access (for review purposes only) and MySQL databases. Author Mode is used by authors to edit content. User Mode is used to read content released by authors. Pintexx also makes pinEdit, the WYSIWYG XHTML editor that is included in exxDoc. As a result pinEdit works seamlessly within exxDoc offering you a variety of design options for your content. Completing the high-level user interface is an integrated spell checker and style editor allowing you to work intuitively.

It's online - exxDoc is a web based application with all benefits of working online. There is no client installation required and there are no administration issues. You can access at any time from any location

All-In-One - exxDoc includes all tools and components for online editing. No other external applications like MS Word are required.

Multiple authors - exxDoc allows multiple authors to work on the same document.

Multiple languages - exxDoc allows creation of documentation (content) in up to 5 different languages. Users can choose between 4 GUI languages.

Multiple databases - exxDoc is a database driven application and supports Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and Microsoft Access (used for evaluation purposes only).

No publishing required - All content is created and edited online. Therefore there is no publishing or upload process required.

User and author mode - User Mode displays all pages released by the author(s). Author Mode edit the entire content.

Paste content - Paste content from many external sources to use in exxDoc.

High level user interface - The user interface GUI is based on the latest standards for desktop applications and offers you an intuitive interface.

Built-in WYSIWYG XHTML editor - A powerful editor let you easily format your content.

Multi-language spell checker - The built-in spell checker corrects your content quickly in different languages.

Style sheets - exxDoc supports working with style sheets and offers a built-in style editor.

Full text search - Words can be easily found by a full text search.

Formatting of Table of Contents (TOC) - In contrast to standard help systems the TOC elements can be individually formatted.

Multiple file upload - A special upload tool is included that allows easy uploading of multiple files.

Text block support - Create reusable blocks of text for reuse later. Quickly build new pages by inserting the reusable blocks of text.

Import/export exxDoc content - Easily import and export exxDoc content using XML. Share exxDoc content between multiple exxDoc installations.

Browser independent - exxDoc can be used by Internet Explorer version 7 or greater and Firefox version 3 or greater.
