Flexible and professional workflow automation. FileScan Tool Pro Lite is a workflow-automation application which can be used to create simple hotfolder or scheduled-triggered workflows (filescanners). You can choose from a fixed set of commands to create your workflow-scripts. Use commands like CopyFile, MoveFile etc. With the SetVariable command you can perform string-manipulations like SubString, TrimString, UpperCase etc. and simple mathematical functions. All workflows are executed by the daemon which can run from the systemtray or as a service.

Overview

FileScan Tool Pro Lite is designed for the MS-Windows platform. FST-Pro Lite filescanners can be executed on preset intervals/time, hotfolder-contents or a combination. Filescanner configurations can be managed with the 'Configuration Manager'. The actual processing of all the filescanners is handled by a dedicated daemon which can run from the systemtray or as a service.

The so-called 'Internal Variables' contain information about the file currently being processed. Information like filename, file-timestamp, subdirectory, filesize, date, time etc. can be used in the scripts. The SetVariable-plugin can be used to perform string-manipulation, simple mathematical functions etc..
