FindinSite-JS is a search engine for web sites or intranets, featuring regular indexing of HTML, PDF, DOC and TXT files, great international support and word highlighting for hits in Web pages. FindinSite-JS is a Java servlet that runs in a Java servlet engine or application server. Administrators use the online configuration screen to set up indexing runs and configure all output.

Overview

FindinSite-JS is a custom search engine for your web site - searching HTML, PDF, DOC, PPT, TXT, JPEG and TIFF files . FindinSite-JS is a　Java Servlet that will run in most servers. Some servers will need to be equipped with a servlet engine or application server.

Keep your search engine accurate and up to date - schedule FindinSite-JS to index your web site or intranet regularly, with a report emailed automatically. Administrators can then feel assured that their search engine is up to date with everyone's changes.

The search screens are automatically shown in the user's preferred language.　Fourteen Western and Asian languages are supported.

FindinSite-JS is fully customisable to integrate with your site using template files, variables and JSP includes.　Search words in web pages are highlighted.

A full range of search options are available:

FindinSite-JS is a Java servlet Web Application that is easy to deploy in any Java servlet engine or application server. FindinSite-JS has been tested in Apache Tomcat and JServ, BEA WebLogic Server, Borland Enterprise Server, IBM WebSphere, Macromedia JRun, Sun Java System Web Server and Sun Java System Application Server.
