Develop interactive map applications. LiveMap is an ActiveX component that allows you to create any type of map interfaces that you would like your users to interact with. It includes samples of USA maps ready to be included into your applications. LiveMap allows you to: create irregularly shaped hotspot regions, detect mouse events for hotspots with automatic highlighting, assign labels and bitmap icons to hotspots, and change attributes such as color, fill style, etc. at runtime.
The main features include:
Creating any irregularly shaped hotspot regions on your maps or layouts
Detecting mouse events for hotspot regions (MouseMove, MouseDown etc)
Support for automatic highlighting on hotspot regions for mouse events
Support for momentary or toggled hotspot regions
Allowing you to assign labels and bitmap icons to hotspot regions
Allowing you to create hotspot regions with a variety of attributes (colors, fill styles or icons etc) that can be changed at run-time
