Hi,
I am using RFT v7, in my application on the login page when i am entering username suppose "admin"
on the recorded script its showing "dmin" or sometimes "adm".There i have to manually change it manually
can anybody have gone through this problem ?

i using the IBM rational functional tester version 7.0.1. i have approach this problem and yet unable to solve it....
this is the error i copy from the log script.

hi iam using rational functional tester 7.0.1,and we have to test the flex3 app,
we are try to set the path,but we are unable to set the path,in functional teter directory we
miss the 3 files that are

RFTFLEX3.0SWC,RFTPROP_FLEX3.0.SWC,BUILDAPPLICATIONWITHFLEX3ADAPTER.BAT

please help us how to get these files and how to test flex3app,

hey all...
i am using RFT to test java application which first loads in "System Tray", making its own Icon. i am unable to open that icon in "System Tray" using "Right Click" (as my application Icon needs to open only using Right Click)
please help me out.

Hi ,
I am using RFT version 7.0.
The release notes says it supports Firefox2.0 . I did a Object recognization on this browser for Yahoomail.com.
What i find is it doesn't distinguish between a TextField and Text(Label).Hence the textfied username is returning
GuiSubitemTestObject class.So if u use it it doen't show setText method on this which should be possible.

hi all,

i want to test pdf document contents with IBM Rational functional tester.
i am working on windows platform.
i tried recording script .
i followed following steps
first open Acrobatreader
then open the pdf to test.
But i am not able to select any of pdf contents through RFT.
Can any one please guide me
