Retrieve Atomic Time and make it available in UTC or Local time. InaClockCtrl.Net is a dual-mode .NET component - capable of being utilized in .NET or COM applications without relying on the runtime wrappers. It is useful in applications where accurate time reporting is a necessity, such as determining exact transaction time for database access by multiple clients. It even supports Proxy servers and dial-up networking and can be configured to update time from any valid time server.
The component calls the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST at time.nist.gov) through port 13 and makes the correct time available. Using the Property TimeServer, any valid time server may be set.
