InstallAware Virtualization - PackageAware
Use the integrated PackageAware tool to automatically convert any application into a virtual application. PackageAware scans the state of the system before and after you run a setup. It then compares the two scans, and generates a ready-to-use InstallAware Virtualization project that encapsulates the delta between the two scans. You may then open the virtual application project and customize it even further as you see fit.

InstallAware Virtualization - Technology
InstallAware Virtualization provides a virtual file system and a virtual registry (a virtual environment) to each virtualized application. The virtual file system and the virtual registry are located in process memory. Each file system call (create file, open file, etc.) and each registry call are preprocessed by the InstallAware Virtualization Engine, and appropriately redirected to either the virtualization layer or the physical underlying system.
