An Intel® Performance Library which provides optimizing software building blocks to complement Intel’s optimizing compilers and performance optimization tools. Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives (Intel® IPP) is an extensive library of multi-core-ready, highly optimized software functions for multimedia data processing, and communications applications. Intel IPP 5.3 brings expanded functionality in data compression, image processing and more.

Intel IPP is one of the Intel® Performance Libraries, which provide optimizing software building blocks to complement Intel’s optimizing compilers and performance optimization tools. Intel IPP is available as a standalone product, or with the Intel® Compiler Professional Editions.
