Licensing

One software license is required per server.
Run-time royalty free.

Note: The JAMS Client and Agent software can be installed anywhere as long as they're used with properly licensed JAMS Schedulers.

JAMS Standard Edition Runs on non-Clustered OpenVMS Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition, Windows XP or Windows Vista. Both 32 and 64 bit versions are supported.

JAMS Enterprise Edition Single Node Runs on non-clustered Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition.

JAMS Enterprise Edition Cluster Runs on clustered Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition in an active-passive/active-active mode, the JAMS Scheduler is active on only a single node at a time yet, it can execute tasks on all nodes in the cluster. One JAMS license covers all machines in the cluster.

JAMS Datacenter Edition Single Node Runs on non-clustered Windows Server 2003 Datacenter Edition.

JAMS Datacenter Edition Cluster Runs on clustered Windows Server 2003 Datacenter Edition in an active-passive/active-active mode, the JAMS Scheduler is active on only a single node at a time yet, it can execute tasks on all nodes in the cluster. One JAMS license covers all machines in the cluster.

Agent Licenses
A JAMS Scheduler license enables task execution only on the server (or cluster) on which it is licensed. A JAMS Scheduler can run tasks on other machines by adding Agent licenses to the JAMS Scheduler. JAMS Agent licenses are sold in 10, 100 and Unlimited levels. Note that a JAMS Agent license can not be split between multiple JAMS Schedulers.
