Licensing

1 Web Site License

• allows you to run a single web sites (web site with single topic)
• additional domain names that point to the same web site are free of charge

1 Server License

• allows you to run any number of web sites on a single physical server

1 Server License with Source Code

• allows you to run any number of web sites on a single physical server
• contains full C# source code of all Kentico CMS libraries that can be modified and compiled

1 Unlimited License with Source Code

• allows you to run any number of web sites on any number of servers
• the web sites must be created by your company
• you can not provide sub-licenses
• contains full C# source code of all Kentico CMS libraries that can be modified and compiled

Development, testing and staging license keys are provided free of charge once you purchase any license.
If you run Kentico CMS in a Web farm, you need to purchase a license for each server: if you have 2-server Web farm, then you need 2 Web Site licenses or 2 Server Licenses.
You can use custom branding (logo and design) in the user interface with any license.

Subscription
If you purchase a license with subscription, you're entitled for the period of 1 year to:

• receive technical support by e-mail and phone
• receive all major upgrades (3.0, 4.0, etc.) released during your subscription period

Without subscription, you will get 1 month of technical support after your purchase.

Source Code
There are two levels of source code:

• Web project and administration interface source code - included with all licences, you can open and modify the Web project in Visual Studio 2005 or Visual Web Developer
• full source code of all libraries (data and business logic layers, controls, helper libraries, etc.) - you can open the solution in Visual Studio 2005, modify and rebuild the whole CMS code
