The LEADTOOLS Virtual Printer SDK Module includes a programmable virtual printer driver that can capture output from any application as EMF and save it as a searchable document format or any of the over 150 image formats supported by LEADTOOLS. Additionally, the LEADTOOLS Virtual Printer SDK Module includes several document writers to programmatically convert output from the virtual printer or EMF to several popular searchable document formats including PDF and DOCX.

Overview of LEADTOOLS Virtual Printer SDK Technology
Capture print output from any application such as Word, Excel and web browsers as EMF and save as a searchable document format or any of the 150 image formats supported by LEADTOOLS. Because the printer driver provides data as EMF, the virtual printer driver is a natural companion to the document writers. The resulting converted output can then be saved to disk, stream, database or SharePoint as searchable PDF, DOC, XPS, HTML, Text, or any of the over 150 formats supported by LEADTOOLS.
