NEW - XSLT Editor and Debugger for XSLT 1.0 and XSLT 2.0 W3C Standards
New XSLT Debugger makes it possible to step through an XSLT stylesheet. The XSLT engines available are the Saxon HE engine and the Microsoft .Net XSLT engine. Using the debugger it is possible to set breakpoints within the XSLT source. When the execution gets to these break points the execution is paused and the environment can be examined. The call stack, local variables and current context are shown when the debugger is paused. It is also possible to set up watch expressions. 

The XSLT editor also supports intellisense, validation, auto complete, outlining (code folding) and may other features making it quicker and easier to author XSLT stylesheets.

NEW -  XQuery Editor and Debugger for XQuery 1.0 W3C Standard
New XQuery Debugger makes it possible to step through an XQuery module or library fie. Using the debugger it is possible to set breakpoints within the XQuery source. When the execution gets to these break points the, its paused and the environment can be examined. The call stack, local variables and current context are shown when the debugger is paused. It is also possible to set up watch expressions. 

The XQuery editor also supports intellisense, validation, auto complete and may other features making it quicker and easier to author XQuery expressions.

NEW - Large File Editor
The Liquid Large file editor makes it possible to open and edit extremely large files (> 4GB). Files are opened instantly regardless of the size, and the memory footprint for the application is tiny. Changes to the document are also instant, so no delays while you type. The editor also supports extremely long lines, so unformatted XML files are no problems. This is a great tool for examining and correcting huge files, data feeds, log files etc.

NEW - Template Based XML Schema Documentation Generator
The XSD documentation tool creates HTML or ASP.NET documentation from an XML Schema (XSD) and includes a Searchable Index. The HTML or ASP.NET site can be customized using your own XSLT templates, making it easy to integrate with your own web site.

WSDL Editor: this new feature, available in the Designer & Developer Editions, is a Graphical WSDL (Web Services Description Language) Editor which greatly simplifies the task of designing complex WSDL. Full syntax validation, drag and drop functionality combined with the visual layout makes this an essential tool for facilitating standards based communications.
Editor Views - All Editors now offer 3 windows, design, split and source code views which are synchronised in real-time as you edit and update. Thus making it far easier to edit and design.
Schema Library Agent: available in all Editions, this new feature gives access to all the Schemas stored in the online Liquid Schema Library. Open the Schema you require and simply select the components you need. This greatly reduces the time taken to take on board new Schema Standards. The online Schema Library contains over 80 industry schemas and will readily accept new standards for upload.

C# and Visual Basic .NET code generation for the .NET Compact Framework: The Developer Edition provides support for Windows CE devices (Mobile Phones and PDA's) and is now included with code generation for C# and Visual Basic .NET for the .NET Compact Framework.
Visual C++ 64 bit: The Developer Edition XML Data Binding wizard now provides additional Project Files for Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 (9.0) 64 bit - providing Royalty Free distribution of compiled code and the Liquid Runtime to end users on the 64bit platform. The C++ Runtime Source Code is also available as an option.

Printing and previewing XML Schema diagrams has been completely re-written to allow scaling of the diagram to a percentage height/width or to a fixed number of pages high and wide. This significantly improves the ability to view large schema in a printed form.

Fast Infoset Import/Export Support
Fast Infoset (FI) is a standard XML compression technology allow XML files to be compressed to a binary form. This technology provides hugh performance improvements as the FI files can be read and written very quickly by FI enabled parsers (such as the Liquid Fast Inforset Library). You can now import and export XML files in FI format directly from the Liquid XML Studio development environment.

Liquid XML Studio Designer Edition adds a Graphical XSD Editor, Web Service Call Composer and XPath Expression Builder to the Visual Studio environment

Web Service Call Composer: Liquid XML studio integrates into Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, VS2008 and VS2010 allowing users to develop XML and XSD applications within the familiar Microsoft Visual Studio environment. This tool allows users to browse web service, select a web method, call the method and view the results. Once a web method is selected, the tool automatically creates the SOAP envelope and generates a request message based on the description within the web service description (WSDL). You can then change this request, setting in your own values. The web request can then be saved, so it can be re-used later. This is very useful in a testing and development environment.
XPath Expression Builder: The XPath expression builder allows you to construct and view the results of your query as you type.
The XPath query builder attaches itself to the active XML Editor, so any XML panel in the environment can be queried. The XPath query editor comes with Intellisense, which is intelligently taken from the content of the current XML document. The results of the XPath expression can then be seen in the active XML editor. Namespaces used within the current XML Editor are automatically aliased for use in the XPath expression, but these can be changed added to or removed.

XML Differencing Tool
XmlDiff is Liquid Technologies XML differencing tool, enabling users to quickly compare 2 XML files.
A host of XML aware options allow you to filter out the changes that are not of interest (i.e. whitespace, comments, processor directives etc).
