• Pivot Grid - Conveniently bind to flat data structures, like Microsoft Excel or SQL. The new Pivot Grid gives your end users the ability to perform deep analysis on multi-million row data sets that are housed in OLAP servers.
• OLAP Data Source – Give your end users a true drill-down experience by integrating our Pivot Grid control with an OLAP data source.
• Drag & Drop – Users can intuitively drag and drop fields from the field selector onto the Pivot Grid and rearrange the fields within row and column groups to see their data sliced and diced however they wish.

The latest version of NetAdvantage for Visual Studio LightSwitch now offers the xamDataGrid from Silverlight.

Grid
Ported from the Silverlight xamWebGrid, the new LightSwitch xamGrid control is fast when performing the most common business usage scenarios. With xamGrid enabled as a LightSwitch extension, a LightSwitch developer can swap the existing Microsoft default grid with this high-performance, feature-laden Grid control, which enhances the overall productivity in the product.

• Filtering - Included a row filtering mechanism for users who need to work with a lot of information. The Filter Row lets users fill-in values and then select the kind of filtering they’d like to perform from a convenient drop down of conditions, including less than, greater than, equal to, contains, starts with and more.
• Sorting and Multi-Column Sorting – Sort by single or multiple data columns.
• Paging – Enable your users to page through data using a customizable pager element which you can position and align within the grid, and fully style by template.
• Summaries - Users can select calculations from a dropdown on each column to have them applied to all rows, and you can add your own custom calculations.
• GroupBy Settings - Users can interactively group (and un-group) rows together by a common value or condition by simply dragging and dropping the column header to the positionable group-by area.
• Embedded Controls Support – The Data Grid offers full support for embedded controls.
• Column Moving - Make it easy for your users to rearrange the columns of the Data Grid control into any sequence that they want, simply by dragging and dropping them.
• Column Chooser Settings – This feature provides a simple UI that allows you to expose a way for end users to select the specific columns they want to see in the grid, including properties such as Allow Hide Column and an Allow Hidden Column Indicator.
• Resizing - Column resizing provides your users with the ability to intuitively rearrange and personalize the layout of their Data Grid, enabling you to create richer, data-intensive applications. The control includes the ability to resize columns, multiple columns and cell areas, as the capability to Double-Click to Size.
• Fixed Columns Support - Sometimes your users have to work with large numbers of columns in their data, just like in an Excel spreadsheet, and the Data Grid is up to that task because it supports fixed columns. Users have only to fix a column to either the left or right side of the grid by dragging it there, and that will cause it to fix itself in place (a grid column can also be designated as fixed programmatically).
• Editing – In-cell editing is easy to configure. Your users can place editable cells into edit mode in many ways, including (but not limited to) double-clicking on them, or pressing F2 while in the cell.
• Clipboard Support - Let your users cut, copy and paste both within this Data Grid, and into other data grids or applications like Microsoft Excel.
• Selections Settings - Complete activation and selection support for the grid rows, columns, and cells within the rows gives your users freedom to select what information they want. We relieve you from workarounds like having to handle mouse events yourself, or having to include a checkbox column with selection built into the control. You can easily identify and style the rows, columns and cells that your users have selected.

UI Control Extensions - NetAdvantage for Visual Studio LightSwitch extends applications built in Visual Studio LightSwitch with custom shells, themes and controls for creating code-free dashboards, interactive maps, and other eye-catching data visualizations.

• Map control – Present rich geospatial data with interactive which features like panning, zooming, image tiling, mouse over effects and tooltips. This control supports Open GIS standards for creating polygon-based shapes (lots, states, countries), polyline-based shapes (roads, rivers, transmission lines), point-based shapes (cities, points of interest), geometry and geography data, and tiled geo-imagery.  Additional features includes: Map Layers, Map Tile Source, Navigational panes, Color Swatch panes, Scale panes.
• Gauge control – Create multi-scale, round or semi-round dashboard dials with the look and feel of an automotive dashboard or aircraft cockpit. You can also create linear Gauges with straight line measurement scales that can orient vertically or horizontally. You can even build digital displays with up to seven numeric segments or 14 alphanumeric segments.
• Data Chart control – Build dashboards and chart types for every business scenario. This control is designed for high performance, particularly with large data sets ranging into the millions of data points. It is also capable of updates every few milliseconds. The Data Chart offers zooming, range selection and the stacking of chart layers to the popular Area, Column, Line, Spline, Step and Pie charts with ease and elegance.
• Bullet Graph Control – Deliver a simple and concise view of your key performance indicators (KPIs) and business intelligence with the Bullet Graph. This control will allow you to compare multiple measurements. You can even enliven its look and feel with visually impressive animations, “template” and style its look and feel, and data bind this control to a particular value.
• Slider Control -To provide users with a far more compelling editing experience than simple edit boxes, and to prevent errors in data entry, Infragistics are including the Slider control with this toolset. Similar to the Silverlight xamSlider control, this Slider presents an extensible range of features including datetime, numeric, datetime range, and numeric range sliders that will quickly relegate traditional edit boxes to the dust bin.
• Editor Controls - The Numeric Editor control extension simplifies the entry and editing of numeric data to any number of decimal places and reduces erroneous input by confining data within programmable upper and lower bounds. It also includes fun-to-use spin buttons for both serially and arbitrarily adjusting data values. When your application calls for formatted or text data with more stringent constraints, the Mask Editor extension couldn't be more timely. Its input mask will help your users “intuitively” fill-in values.
• Custom Shell Extensions – Elevate your application to a rich, modern, visually stunning delight. The stylish Outlook / TileView shell allows you to aggregate activity and data from multiple Microsoft Visual Studio LightSwitch screens into one view allowing for faster switching between screens in an intuitive, visually pleasing manner. 
• Themes – Build custom interfaces with simplicity and beauty. Easy to implement, and NeoMetro and Office 2010 compatible, the intuitive style guidelines are the result of years of User Design and User Experience work. Benefit from the IG Theme, Metro Theme, Orange Theme, and Office 2010 Blue Theme styles that will allow you to represent your application in a visually appealing, modern and “natural” way.
